Hello Team Cameron,
I've always said that no one appreciates a person raking leaves as much as their neighbor. I bought a house in 2002 in an older and more established neighborhood with large oak trees. I discovered quickly, that fall, how it person can spend an entire day raking leaves and one week later you have nothing to show for it.
The only person really benefiting from your weekend worth of raking is the neighbor that insists on waiting for the wind to blow his leaves to your lawn. With that said I would like to thank the Boy Scouts from Troop #3384 for raking my lawn leaves on Tuesday afternoon. The backyard looked great but if you don't believe me ask my neighbor.
Friday night we watched the Olathe North Eagles beat Lawrence Free State 41-28. Coach Flood and his Eagles are advancing to the finals this Friday and if it all works according to the master plan they will be playing again next Saturday for the State finals in Topeka on the 28th of November. Wish them luck.
I want to thank everyone that participated in making this year's Team Cameron Bowling Event a success. Saturday night there were about 80 people enjoying the refreshments, music and of course the company at the Mission Bowl in Olathe. We handed out presents and prizes throughout the evening including the new favorite custom painted bowling pins.
Cold weather has moved in again making the outdoors just a bit more unbearable. We had our first light snow this morning and I don't believe the temperature reached above a dismal forty-ish today. It looks like we will be suffering the lower temperatures until Friday or Saturday but I can handle a foot of snow in lu of a half an inch of ice.
I hope you all have a great week. Get out and get some exercise. In fact it looks like your neighbor's lawn needs a little raking. Keep in mind you will appreciate it when you're done.
Take care, Mark
