Hello Team Cameron,
I guess if I was getting graded on punctuality I would be failing when it comes to getting a post to the web site on Sundays. I have always had a problem with procrastination in fact, I can think of a number of things that I should finish tonight after making a post, but it what the easier to do them tomorrow.
Yesterday morning I reminded myself that it was June 1 and I should be ready to pray at 6 p.m. for the Prayer Power Surge. I'm not exactly sure what I was doing at 6 p.m. but.
I want to thank those of you who remembered the 6 p.m. prayer time on behalf of everyone from Team Cameron that benefits.
It's amazing how things have changed when I look at the last few years. Before my accident I would have been considered a workaholic. I started a company for a couple of friends and didn't mind working late and through the weekends. I hunted, camped, drove a truck, rode motorcycles and didn't have a home phone or cable.
As I look at this home computer with the TV tuned to one of 100 channel choices, I sit back and think ‘Wow, how my life has changed.’ I’ve attended art shows, wine tastings, numerous sporting events and concerts that I probably wouldn’t have made the time to attend. I’ve met many doctors, scientists, senators, sports figures, celebrities, amazing disabled people, and the extraordinary regular people.
Although I don’t look at my accident as a high point in my life, I don’t have to look far to remember how blessed I truly am.
Have a great week!
Love, Mark
