Hello Team Cameron,
After last weeks tax day, I wanted to lighten the post with these two quips:
*Did you ever notice: When you put the 2 words "The" and "IRS" together it spells "THEIRS"?
*Making out your own income tax return is something like a do-it-yourself mugging.
The rain this past weekend has created some colorful flowerbeds and green lawns. I hope you seeded in time and have your lawnmower tuned and ready for the mowing season.
The Cannonballers were back in action on Sunday afternoon, although Caption Scott had the option to accept the opponents forfeit for the number of players. He chose to play the team outright. In true cannonball fashion, we let the team take the led only to crush them near the end of the game. I am going to need help keeping the running total for this season, but I would estimate we are continuing our winning streak at 12-0. We play again next week at 7:00 pm. As usual you are all invited and we hope to see you there.
The Golf Committee has given updates that the course is 8 people shy of “Full”. If you are still trying to gather a team for this year, you can reach Josh Carr at Joshua.carr@ncmc.com . The post party/auction starts at 6:00 pm at Prince of Peace Church in Olathe. This party is not limited to the golfers only, in fact, everyone is invited. Texas Roadhouse will be providing the eats.
The Auction Committee reported that we are looking at some great auction items for example: GE Washer & Dryer, ABS Smoker, autographed sports memorabilia, bike, vacation destination, jewelry, cigars, and much more!
Have a great week and enjoy the weather!
Mark
