Dear Team Cameron,
I stopped in to see my doctor last week for a check-up and some blood work. He said I am looking good, other than my weight loss or lack there of. I am sure these Easter jelly beans I am currently enjoying have very little impact.
Wednesday night I had a meeting with PDAB-Persons with Disabilities Board. We are gearing up for the riders with Push America. We are planning for a July 19th arrival of the group.
It looks like spring has arrived! Breck and I took off work on Friday afternoon to attend Opening Day at Kauffman Stadium with the Royals. The weather was beautiful. Our team lost, but the beer was cold! Two out of three is not bad! They have completed some renovations to the stadium since the 2008 season. If you have the chance to catch a game, I highly suggest it.
Easter Sunday was spent at Cousin Kathleen’s. In lieu of the standard Easter Egg Hunt, we are now racing box turtles for entertainment. As some of you may know, my dad has been training box turtles for many years. They are not jumping through fire hoops, but a four legged foot race will definitely get your attention.
The golf committee met again on Monday night and it appears teams are filling up quickly for the May 1st tee-off. If you are planning to play, do not hesitate. Complete the entry form at your earliest convenience. If you have an questions, email joshua.carr@ncmc.com . We heard from the auction committee. It looks like we are going to have some exciting items.
Enjoy your week and the sunshine!
