Team Cameron,
What a weekend! Who would've thought the last weekend in March and we were covered in snow. We've had some really great warm weather and the temperature has been warm enough to get the flowers started and the trees in bloom but of course we need at least one more cold snap.
It started out Friday afternoon with a cold rain until the temperature dropped to freezing and the snow started falling through the night and by Saturday morning we were looking at 4-5 inches on my back patio. Needless to say I didn't get out either day. Thanks to the volunteers that took the time to shovel my drive and sidewalks.
The Cannonballer's had the weekend off due to the wet fields. Be sure to leave your schedule opened at four o'clock next Sunday we will be taking the field looking to continue with our winning streak.
The committee is getting things in line for this year's Team Cameron Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, May 1. I would like to also invite everyone to the wine tasting on Thursday night, April 30. You can click on the link www.brownbagliquor.com/ to register. I've heard the wine tasting could potentially sell out so be sure to pre-register. Due to Kansas Law, money can't be taken at the door.
The end of the month is Wednesday and with that brings along the Prayer Power Surge. Just like last month, let's take 10 minutes to say a prayer for the people that needed the most. I have a couple of people in mind that could really benefit from an extra prayer or two. Remember on April 1 to take 10 minutes at 6 p.m. for those in need of a prayer.
Have a great week.
Love,
Mark
