Many, many years ago, probalby around 1981 or 82, while Mark and I were in grade school together, he told me a very memorable story. One April 1st morning, Mark's sister, Sue, came into his room and wished him a heart felt Happy Birthday. After telling her that his birthday wasn't until the next day, Sue painfully explained that the family had felt sorry for him for being a "Fools Baby" and had changed his birthday to April 2nd in order to spare his feelings and endless teasing. He'd bought it hook line and sinker. Brilliant prank! The best part of the story is that while Mark was telling me this, he wasn't the least bit angry about the trick that Sue had pulled on him. I kept thinking that I would kill one of my siblings for doing such a thing, yet Mark just admired the immagination and execution of his cleaver sister. I laughed so hard when he told me that story, and I remember it every April Fools Day. Mark has the wonderful ability to enjoy life and a good prank even if he is the brunt of it. He is an incredibly positive person, and I will continue to learn from him. Gina Vader
